sound on my webcam

THE WIZARD

i have a logitech messenger webcam, the problem is the
cam is fine but the microphone seems to play up :-( when
using messenger to have an audio conversation, i can hear
my friend perfectly. but when i speak there is a terrible
delay and break up. i also ran a test on " test hardwear"
in my voice menu in "sounds and audio devices properties"
in my "control panel" after the test it comes up with an
error message about Direct Play Voice Setup EXE. i even
tried moving the acleration dial in the DXDIAG and still
no joy .HELP HELP !!!!!!!! Please. Thanks.......
 
Get yourself a normal mic and plug it into the Sound Card and make sure it
is the one selected when you run the Wizard.
