Sound Issues Please Help!

HI, I am having some annoyances with my PC. Randomly my sound stops, and I
can't play any media file that have sound. Later my sound spontaneously
starts again. I have checked device manager and there are no abnormalities. I
have even tried to update all drivers involving sound and video but there are
no updates available. I can assure that the problem is not with my headphones
and speakers or their wires.

Youre not looking very hard if thier are no updates for video and audio....
Try the mfg web site for downloads or windows update catalog.For sound
issues,if you have a pci sound card,uninstall in device mgr,power off,place
the
card in another slot,start computer.If its on board,do the same except for
moving card,xp will reinstall it on start up.
