sound, but no video, & reboot

my computer restarts it's self when i open a DVD in windows media player.why
is that?
when i open the DVD in Power DVD, I get sound, but no Video. DMA is on and
i stll have the same problem. can anyone help me?
 
Go to start/run, and type:

DXDIAG

If it restarts then, you need a better or repaired video driver.
