Sony Vaio Troubleshooting

I have a Sony Vaio PCG-SR5K laptop with Win 2000 installed.
My touchpad wont work (code 24). Has anyone a solution to
the proper driver installation. I've downloaded and
installed every conceivable driver with no positive
results. Please reply asap. Thank You
