Hi,

I have something weird on my worksheet. In the upper
left of the worksheet, I have two small buttons with the
numbers 1 & 2 on them. They are just to the left of the
column headers. I do not have any sub totals so I do not
know what they mean.

can someone tell me what they are and how to get rid of
them.

Sounds like you have some grouped rows.

Select all cells, goto Data>Group and Outline.. and ungroup them
