Some problems

I use an external microphone for instante voice messages
and conferences. I've used msn messenger and yahoo
messenger, an in both, after some minutes of use, the
last sound start repeating and the computer hangs. This
happens EVERY time I use the microphone, and when it
happens, I can't do anything but shut down the computer
manually. I looked at the event viewer to see what's
going on, but no event is registered at the time the
computer hangs. Nevertheless, this last time I was using
the mic I got a blue screen for less than a second, and
a "save dump" was registered in the errors report. Is
this the same problem? What can I do? I need some help
about this.
Also, the IE gives me frequent error messages and ask me
to debug. What is this about?

Why use msn messenger with a .net ip adress.
MSN messenger can be used,but its really for msn explorer
the dial-up connection,try windows messenger solo,useing
both isnt suggested.All those events and nothing in event
viewer,the viewer stores info for quite awhile.For info
on dump,go to search at microsoft,type:314084
Usually with dump and debug theres a system problem or
configuration conflict.To start,go to run,type:cmd
At the prompt type:CHKDSK C: /F C: being the hd
