Some of my contacts are not visible

I upgraded from either the 2000 or 2003 version or Office to Office
Enterprise 2007 . My problem is that when I select Contacts all of my
contacts are not visible. I know that they exist in the Outlook system
somewhere because when T search under All Contact Items I can pull them up
BUT when I just scroll in C ontacts they are not there. In fact I notice that
when viewing the Contacts page on the banner at the top, to the right, next
to the search box where it show which Items are supposed to be visible (i.e.
Act - Lin, Lim - Pau, etc) --- it doesn’t show an option for the name that I
am looking for. For example… there is no y - z and I have names that start
with the letter z,

You'll need to provide more information.
Start my stating how you migrated your Outlook data file to the new
installation.
Use Folder List in Outlook view to examine your entire folder hierarchy and
state how many Contacts Folders you see there. Make sure you expand all
Folders.
State more clearly from which view(s) you think Contacts are missing.
