Email address not visible

When I open Contacts, the email addresses are not visible unless they appear
as Email #1. The problem is that since I changed from XP to Vista, and got
Outlook 2007, all the old email addresses (hundreds) show as Email #3. How do
I correct that without having to move all email addresses?

Please clarify the following:
1. To what view you are referring
2. How you migrated your Outlook data to the new installation (in detail).
