Hi,
I have just installed Windows xp home edition up graded
from windows 98. Most of my application software dates
back to 1999. Can anyone tell me if there is a program I
can purchase from any company and download that will
check all my software and tell me if any are not Windows
xp compatable and if drivers need to be updated and
search internet for these updated drivers?
You can contact me on Email at: (e-mail address removed)
Thank you.

Umm did you not run the Compatibility program that is included on the XP CD
before installing?

Getting older programs to run on Windows XP
Most programs run properly on Windows XP. The exceptions are some older
games and other programs that were written specifically for an earlier
version of Windows. To run your program on Windows XP, try the following:

1.. Run the Program Compatibility Wizard. As an alternative, you can set
the compatibility properties manually.
2.. Update your program, drivers, or hardware.
