Slow Printer Preview since SP2

Since upgrading to SP2, print preview and printing to
HP5100 printer is incredibly slow. It seems to be all
programs (checked with Word, Excel and AutoCAD). It's
not the printer - just getting a preview takes an age.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Are there XP2 drivers available for your printer?
 
In the meantime we have found that the problem applies
when the printer is serviced from a computer that has a
Win 98 operating system. We tried a different printer
and had the same problem. The printers serviced via
computers with W2000 or XP are ok.
