Slow picture loading in Outlook 2007 emails

Whenever I open a new email or reopen one the pictures that are in many
emails are very slow in opening. I never had that problem in 2003. They
will appear but not very quickly. Anyone have any ideas how to fix that?

What kind of pictures are they? JPEG? GIF? Are they attachments or embedded
in the message?

It's beta software...
I've experienced this for images embedded in HTML since Beta 1

I really don't think you can do much about it. Slow picture loading has
been with me since the first beta of Outlook 2007.
