Slow login to server

I've just implemented a new Server2003 in a mixed XP Pro
and Win2K environment. The single XP Pro workstation
configured to connect to this server takes about 3 minutes
to log in yet any of the Win2K stations configured log in
without any noticeable delay. The XP station has been
clearly made a member of the new domain, the accounts have
been defined, and since its only the XP station, I think
its more of a local rather than a server problem.

Windows XP has a problem logging into a domain Everything from Window
NT to Windows 2003 Servers. This is caused in Windows XP Home and Pr
Editions because of their security settings. Check out these article
I have had some success with them. Oh, the first and easiest thing t
check is the Primary DNS should point to the server. I hope this work
for you. I have fixed many slow xp network domain problems with thes
articles, I just have one last workstation that is still giving m
grief. I must still be missing something for that case. Please let m
know how it works out for you.
