I have a small network which consists of a server running
Windows 2000 SBS and two workstations.
One workstation runs Windows 2000 Professional and that
station works fine.
The other station runs Windows XP Professional and that is
the station that I am having a problem with. When I boot
that station it can see the network and other workstation
fine. It that system has been running for a couple of
hours since it was last rebooted then it can no longer see
the server or the other station. If I try to access the
server or the other workstation station from Windows
Explorer I get a message asking for a username and
password. I then enter this information and I get a
message saying "xxx is not accessible. You might not have
permissions to use the network resource"
At this point the server can see this workstation.
If I reboot then from the XP Pro workstation then it can
see the server and the other workstation.
Any ideas as to what is going on and how to fix it?
Thanks
