slow connection to Terminal Server

Hi,

we are using a Windows 2000 Terminal Server and about 15
clients logged onto the server at the same time, at any
time of the day.

In the morning from 9-11 GMT and after 17h GMT, the
connection to the server gets very slow in reaction.

I tried out the local internet connection and the internet
connection of the Terminal Server, both are fine and
working fast enough not to have any delay.

What could be the problem that at certain times of the
day, the connection just gets really slow?

It sounds like your network card or network hardware that
connects to the terminal server may be under heavy load
during those periods. Have you thought about replacing
your server network card with a faster one with an onboard
processor or replacing your network hardware with
something more robust and faster?
