Terminal Client Hang

Is ther a way to change registry in Terminal-Server if
there is a slow connection between Windows 2000 Terminal-
Server and client?
My problem is that terminal client offen stop responding
for an unspecified among of time while terminal session.

I would recommend you change the TCPMaxDataRetransmissions
value to 10 (up from 5) as well as enabling keep alives on
your server:
