Slow boot Up

My Dell Inspiron 6000 is taking approx. 5 minutes to boot up. I have
recently returned from vacation where I used a wireless system. I have
disabled the wireless but it is still slow to start. Any Help? Thanks

Possible reasons:

Malware
Too many programs/processes loading
Antivirus program is set to scan your entire hard drive each time you
boot up
Drive is too full and/or fragmented
