slipstreaming updates that are post SP2

(1) I purchased a copy of Windows XP Home Edition UPGRADE.
(This new CD already has SP2 incorporated.)
(2) I re-installed it to my computer.
(3) After about 48 hours, as I was turning off the computer
( start -> turn off -> turn off )
XP said it was installing 33 updates and it would turn off
my computer when it was ready ( finished ).

I have instructions for slipstreaming SP2 and burning
a fresh CD. Is it possible to slipstream those 33 updates?
I anticipate that I will install a new larger HD and install
XP fresh in the near future, and it would be fun to install
an "UP-TO-DATE" XP.

Tnx,
Charles

Windows XP Home Edition with SP2 & 33 additional updates
Intel Pentium Mobile 4-M Processor running 1.8GHz
HD 9.76GB Total 5.18GB Used 4.58GB Free
Memory 256MB
I am running Webroot SpySweeper and it is up-to-date.
I am running Trend PC-cillin and it is up-to-date.
I am running Microsoft Firewall and it is up-to-date.

Yes and No (How's that for avoiding the issue!) - Pun aside - Individual
updates require restarts(s) -service packs included an utility which negates
individual restarts and along with update.exe is included in SP2 - can you
slipstream the updates to SP2? Documentation on Windows 2003 Server
provides procedure for installing accumulated updates by use of update.exe
and the aforementioned restart utility (available -but do not recall name).
Hope you get a more definitive response.
