slipstreaming SP2 & Hot fixes

My Registry seems to have a minor glitch, and so i tried the slipstreaming
with SP2, however I get errors during the install (from HD or CD) which
suggest that my computers additional "Hotfixes" need to be incorporated into
the slipstream.

I used this method;

But I'm too clear on how to incorporate the hot fixes into the slipstream!
Or should I just uninstall the HotFixes, but I really want to get it all
dialed in correctly.

Anybody know this one?

I don't believe in putting the hot fixes in slitpstreams; lyou'd spend all
your time revising the slipstream. Just let windows update get them for
you.
