Slipstreaming a slipstreamed install

N

none

I installed SP1 to my XP pro machine, and created
a slipstreamed XP CD. For creating a slipstreamed
XP SP2 disk, should I merge the SP2 file with the
files on the original XP disk, or the slipstreamed
SP1 version? Or does it not matter?

Thanks in advance,

Either WinXP SP0 or using WinXP SP1. Since XP2 is cumulative the resultant files in i386
will be the same.

You can use either method. It doesn't matter since the SP2 update
contains everything from the SP1 update.

It does not matter (as you've already learnt). Additionally, slipstreaming SP2 is explained here:
http://forum.aumha.org/viewtopic.php?t=7262

I used Autostreamer, which took ~30 min to copy/integrate the files/create the ISO. Should you need a visual aid on Clean installing XP, see the MVP site below: http://michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html
