Site "down" briefly

It was very brief, so possibly just an insignificant glitch... but around 8:17 am, I couldn't get in to the site (which had been "up" just moments before that.) When I tried "http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/#" it confirmed that the site was down. Only mentioning this for info purposes, because as I mentioned, it was back very quickly. :wave:
 
Thanks for the heads up TC, I didn't get a warning e-mail from the server or host so I'll have a peek under the bonnet just to make sure it's ok :)
 
The event log looks clear, which is a relief! :D It must have been an issue with a switch/router at the host or something external to the main server, but thankfully it sorted itself out quickly.

Phew! :D
 
Site was down earlier too, about 18.30ish IIRC, Anyone else notice it?
 
Yes, sorry about that - I've just had an inbox of e-mails from the host about the problem. A reboot seemed to do the trick :)
