site background not showing

i am having a problem with a client that cannot see the
background of our websites. she sees all the text and
pictures, but anything set in the .css is not showing
up...it's all just white.

i had her check to see if any of the "ignore" boxes were
checked under the Accessibility screen. the only one that
was was fonts. i had her uncheck that anyway, but it
still didn't work. she is working with xp and i.e. 6.
she has sbc/yahoo dsl, and the browser is the sbc/yahoo
version of i.e. 6.

we have NO other clients or visitors that have ever had
this problem, to my knowledge, so it seems to be a problem
on her pc. you can visit two of the sites we have up at
www.unwindwithhoku.com and www.relaxnaturally.com

Ask her what maintenance level she has. E.g. enter
javascript:navigator.appMinorVersion

(I don't have any particular suspicions, just interest in establishing
a base.)

You may also get some clues by asking her what she sees
after doing a Ctrl-a (Select All)

FWIW when I do the latter here

I see some spots which blend in with the background
in addition to 3 spots around "Stressed?" which are oddly colored
dark brown.

I think I am having a similar problem. The backgrounds on any site
visit will not work. Also, the buttons (for example, the button yo
press on Ask Jeeves when you want it to search, or google) are ver
big. Everything is! I can't seem to change that. However, I am mor
concerned about the background. Will reinstalling windows help
