I have 2 notebook computers both running xp pro sp2. On one I can use my
windows network id & pw to log onto the comnputer regardless if I'm attached
to my network or not. I just get a warning message that could not connect to
all network drives/folders when the notebook is not physicall connected to
the network. If I'm attached to the nwtwork I have access to all the network
stuff. If I'm not attacehd to the network I have access to just the local
computer but that's just fine.
On the second neotbook if I'm not physically attached to the network when I
login I get the cannot find domain error and must swithch to a local machine
and local ID.
I can't see where anything si set up differently on the tow computers?
Anyone have a solution, or know what I might have done differently in the
setup to cause this?
Thanks
