Simple "announcements" function

I am creating a community neighborhood website in FP 2002 and would
like to include a page for community announcements. I do not want an
interactive bulletin board or forum. I simply want a page where
community residents can post messages of garage sales, school events,
neighborhood activities, etc.
I am visualizing a "cork board" type of page where "post-it" type
messages can be placed. Is there anything like that available? Would
that be hard to create from scratch?
Any input or ideas is greatly appreciated.

I haven't looked for one of what you're talking about but you might want to
try www.aspin.com or www.fuzzysoftware.com

as for community sites you should look at www.aspportal.net I don't have
anything to do with the company but I've used it with FrontPage and it's
very easy. plus the guy who wrote it dropped the very reasonable $35 to
$2.50! I think he's nuts. ;-)

Hi,
you could build this with the FP database wizard (assuming a windows server)
You'd have 2 pages - 1 to allow users to post their stuff and another to
display it.
