Show Desktop.scf Does Not Work

The 'Show Desktop.scf' icon on my Quick Launch is there, but for some reason,
it doesn't work. I get a message saying:

Windows cannot open this file:

File: Show Desktop.scf

To open this file, Windows needs to know what program created it. Windos can
go online to look it up automatically, or you can manually select from a list
of programs on your computer.

.... And so forth.

Please help!

Type this command from Start, Run:

regsvr32 /i shell32

If that does not help, apply the .SCF assciation fix from Doug Knox site:
