should i use ATA CF or just plain CF card?

Hi,

I want to place my image onto a CF card and use ewf and boot from this CF
card.
Should i buy me a ATA CF II card?
or is a plain CF card sufficient?

a plain CF card is a lot cheaper than a ATA one....

I made some more research and think that an ATA CF is a pcmcia card....
they are longer in fysical format

my hardware supports CF and 2.5" HD

You'll need a bootable CF device, then.

I bought a sandisk 512MB, installed it in my neo hw.
the system sees the sandisk as a removable disk in xp.
but i can't boot from the cf.
'disk error'

how do i make a cf bootable?
