Should I Remove SP1 ?

NO. If u still have the 23 or so Hot fixes in the
add/removes progams u dont have SP1 installed. and no u
need SP1 installed. it provides hundards of security and
application patchs.

to the installation of service pack one. Thinking about
removing it, I looked at Add/Remove Programs in Control
Panel and find no less than 23 instances named: Windows XP
Hot Fix (SP1) Q******. Can someone tell me if it's safe to
remove all of these files? It would be nice if I could
remove them all at the same time instead of one at a time,
but I don't expect miracles.
