OK, with out starting WWIII should I migrate to Windows 10 from Windows 7?
Now as the PC is often used by my Dad when he comes round will the start menu extra be the same?
Can I if not liking it go back to Win 7?

Any good/bad points?
Is their a compatabilty tool to see if my 7 yr old pc will work with it??

I'm of the old school of "if it ain't broke don't fix it".

Win7 works fine for me, so I will stick with it. :)

Win 7 sucks, go back to XP. :)

Win XP sucks, go back to Win 98.2

Win 95 was a disaster, go back to Apple.

I think the trouble is that Windows 7 is going to run out of support in the near future from Microsoft so there will not any updates and especially security updates when that happens which is very important. I think I read that should happen in the next year or so.

Build your own and make a far better PC at a great saving than buying a shop bough one. If I can do it any one can and you can build it over several months and spread the cost.:nod::nod::nod:
