Sharing files on W2k, access by W95/W98

Can someone explain how to share a folder on Windows 2000
and have a 95 or 98 machine access that folder? Do I have
to set up a new user on the 2000 machine for everyone that
will be sharing that folder? Do I have to login as that
user on the 95/98 machine to be able to access the W2k
folder. Hope someone can help! Thank you...

You have to create a user account on the 'host' computer for any login that
will be used. You can have all the Win9x PCs use the same login if you wish.

Yes, but see above.

Greetings --

On the Win2K PC, create user account(s), with password(s), that
have the desired access privileges to the desired shares. Log on to
the Win9x PCs using those accounts, and you will be able to access the
designated shares, provided your network is configured properly.
