Shared Folders are Frequently Disconnected

Hi!

We have a login script that automatically map shared folders to a network
drive during login. I just notice that everytime I didn't access any file or
folder on the shared folder, it always prompt that the folders are offline
and the blue cpu on task bar appears and when I look on the drives, some
drives has been disconnected and some have no subfolders eventhough it has,
this is due to offline connection to the server. Can I diable this
disconnection of shared folder, especially on windows xp (we didn't
experience this on win2k and winnt).

regards,

MP

What edition of Windows XP is it - Home or Pro? Remember simultaneous
connections limit.

You can raise or lower the disconnect timeout period, if the number of
computers, that might be connecting to any server simultaneously, exceeds the
numer for that edition of Windows.
