Synchronization has developed a problem on my laptop/PC combination. I've
deleted all offline files, de-selected the off-line enable feature, removed
the "shared" status on the (only) folder that is shared, even disconnected
the drive.
With all this, you would think you could start afresh. I can then get the
laptop to boot up ok with no synchronization at all. Everything looks fine.
If i then select the folder to be shared offline, and go through the process
and "synchronize", the synchronization seems to go fine. You can see the
window with files being checked. You get a "synchronization successful"
message and then the dialog box disappears. All looks well. However, there
are no files in the offline folder and if you then immediately do another
synchronization, you immediately get an error message saying "Offline files
(...unable to merge offline changes to ... The parameter is incorrect'.
Any idea what might cause this and how to fix it?
