Disconnected Network Drive

My Explorer gets hanged after 1-2 hours while I click on the network drives,
which is showing disconnected eventhough the machine is connected to network.
Able to ping IP's of the Domain Server and also replicate mails in Lotus
Notes. Logoff and login the machine resolves the problem for time being and
explorer starts working properly. Domain server is NT Server and others are
able to access the same server share mapped in their system.

I have checked Power management features in laptop and unchecked the setting
to keep the network card active on battery power.

Machine Details: Dell Latitude 620 with Core2duo processor, 1 GB RAM and 80
GB HDD. Windows XP OS SP2.
