Sharded printer problem

For years I have shared a printer over a home network. A few weeks back it
stoped working.
On the computer the printer is connected to by usb, prints ook. On the 2nd
computer I see the printer and can go through printing steps ok.
If I look at the computer the printer is on, the file is there waiting to
print but does not print. Any ideas???

First thing to do is uninstall and reinstall it on the PC that has the
problem.

Now I can not reinstall the printer on the one it was connected. It is an
Epson 6600.

What is the exact error message on the PC when you try.

Hi! The next time I tried to do the reinstsll it worked. That solved the
problem.
Thanks!
But I worked on a second network at a differemt site, that has the same
problem. This time reinstalling the printer driver did not fix the problem.
Any ideas?
