DCOM error 10009 with remote printer

I have 3 computers on a home network. Computer A has a laser printer.
Computer B has an inkjet printer. Both B and C can print to the laser
printer. Computer C can print to the inkjet printer.

When A adds the inkjet printer, it can print but a continuous series of DCOM
10009 errors is generated and the printing appears to be slowed by timeouts.

Network file sharing works fine on all 3 computers.

I assume that computer A has a problem with DCOM. How do I get enough
information to troubleshoot this problem?

The inkjet printer is HP Officejet 6110. All 3 computers use Windows XP and
computer C does not log the DCOM error 10009 when printing to the remote
inkjet. Only computer A logs the DCOM errors.

You will need to do some research on DCOM. Normally there are firewall
ports that need to be enabled and settings in DCOM for remote stuff.
