Perhaps he has much to teach us.. perhaps we are really getting old... and
cranky.
Perhaps he has the winner attitude that says "we must go forth with what
we have,
there is no use in crying about spilled milk"
That's part of it, but in itself, that's blind. I wouldn't just accept
anything MS throws at me. In fact, so much so, we use Macs and Linux for
certain functions. However, as a PC desktop, I do see Vista in that light.
But then again there are countless people still on W2K workstation instead
of XP. So why not have the next generation of countless people on XP while
they skip Vista? That's perfectly valid.
I would just hate to see some people miss out on some pretty cool stuff.
Thanks!Justin also has shown some flexibility in his views... and that is good...
Let's go back to a very basic point. This might be ignorant, I don't know.
It seems like simpley logic.
Regardless of all the "What MS should have done", "what compatibility they
should have included", let's look at Vista as it is.
This is only going to work if you believe me or have experienced it
yourself. I have used very stable machines running Vista. I have used very
unstable machines running Vista. What's at fault? Vista CAN work and work
well. It only stands to reason that once compatibility gains ground then
there will be a LOT more happy people out there.
With that said, I challenge the wait until SP1 or SP2. I don't think it'll
take that long. That's my opinion.
