setting default printer

just installed a combination printer/ fax/scanner. When
deleting the old printer from Control Panel, the fax
machine was designated as the default printer. How do I
change to the printer icon to designate it as the default
printer?

Go to control panel, printers and faxes, right click on
printer you want to make default, select "Make default"
