HI Ariel:

Did you try what finally worked for me? Tools | Options | Mail Format -
then fonts and click on "always use my fonts"..

I hope it works for you too.

That's a limitation in Outlook 2003 and earlier versions, unless you use stationery. Outlook 2007 gives you a full choice of custom colors.

I was responding specifically to Cheryl's issue with colors.

OK. Do you have a response for my issue posted previously? Since I
originally wrote it I have tried both with and without stationery.

I am also using Outlook 2003 and I am using Word and I am not using
stationery. My exact symptoms are that I change the font settings (in both
of the places that I mentioned in my post) and every time I exit out of
Outlook and go back in to compose a new email, it is back to Arial 10pt black.

Is this a computer at work? It's possible that your office is mandating a standard font.

Hi Sue,
I am having difficulty with my new Outlook email signatures. The type is
appearing yellow on the new messages. It also looks like I have a grid
pattern for stationery. I have chosen blank stationery. I am using Outlook
2003.

Thanks, Annette

Hi Sue - hope you can help. I have this issue: I go to Mail Fortman / Font &
choose Comic Sans 12 point, bold, green as my signature. The sample font
turns green but not the signature which stays black.

Also, for my emails I have choosen 10pt. Ariel blue, and when I go to New
email, the text is black and my signature appears black. I have re-done the
steps at least 20 times. And shut down & re-started.

Thank you so much,
Barbara
