Windows Vista Service Pack 1

Cannot load Vista Service pack 1 (have service pack 2). Apparently service pack 1 is required if I want to go to IE9.

Thx for reply unfortunately sites no help. I gather you are not a fan of IE9.

As an extra bit of info on problem, In the auto updates, whilst other updates have downloaded, Service Pack 1 always fails to download.

oh well, that's MS for you, reinstall or use another browser.

as for fans, no, I don't care as long as it works is safe-ish and quick.

If the SP! won't install via auto updates, go HERE and download and install it
