server error

When I try to send a message I get the error that it dosen't recognize the
incoming e-mail server or the outgoing server type

Incoming server = pop.charter.net port (110)

Outgoing server= smtp.charter.net (port 25)

Charter says it should work

Are you connected to Charter's network?

Please post the entire error message..
Right-click on the message, select Copy. Then Paste it into a reply here.
