sending email thru outlookexpress

any help with this would really be appreciated. I can receive email from my
aol account using outlook express but I can't send any email thru outllook
express. I get an error code 550

Check your outgoing mail settings for the AOL email account. If not
successful, contact AOL tech support for the settings they require for
outgoing to be successful in OE.
