Cindy Prunier

I cannot send email thru Windows.
If I am on my aol account, email is fine, I can receive, send messages,
pictures etc. but if I am on a website, as Craigslist, and want to respond,
it will not go thru. I receive error messages:
Account home server "mail.comcast.net" POP3 Server Respond ERR Login failed
Port 110 Secure SSL No, Server error 0x800CCC90 Error # ox800CCC92

Account Windows Mail Server mail.comcast.net Protocol POP3 server respond
ERR login failed Port 110 secure SSL No, server error

please help, I have been on the phone over an hour with my ISP, no luck

When you click on a mailto: link, it should open your default email program.
What is your email program, and do you have it set up to access your email
account?

Your error messages are paraphrased, not verbatim. We need to see
the actual error messages. Right-click on your error message, copy,
then paste it into a reply here.

The correct email settings for Comcast are documented here:
http://www.comcast.com/Customers/FAQ/FaqDetails.ashx?Id=2288
Although those instructions were written for Outlook Express,
Windows Mail uses the same settings.
