My computer is running on Windows XP SP3, MS Office 2003, and Outlook 2003.
I am connected to Comcast High Speed Internet.

But all I can get is two (2) error messages:

Task 'POP3 - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0D) :
'Unable to find the e-mail server.
Please verify the server information in your account properties.'

Task 'POP3 - Receiving' reported error (0x80040900) :
'The server name you entered can not be found on the network (it might be
down temporarily).
Please verify that you are online and that the server name is correct.'

I am totally helpless on what to do to correct these problems.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

Almost certainly you have set up your e-mail account on Outlook
improperly, and don't have the correct POP3 server (and that suggests
that you may have other errors too). Comcast's POP3 server is
mail.comcast.net and their SMTP server is smtp.comcast.net, but you
should call them to make sure you have *all* the settings correct.
