When I try to use the SEND TO feature witdows tells me that my computer is
not setup to send email attachments.

I use Netscape, I never used any other software to communicate, browse or
email. When this version of XP was installed in my computer I could use that
feature. For some reason it started doing that

See these two first, your default mail client may not be set.

Send To Mail Recipient option does nothing

How do I change my default e-mail client?

There seems to be a number of fixes. Depends on the exact problem.
Here are a few fixes.
-----
Repair from David Candy

Start | Run | Type: regsvr32 sendmail | Click OK
-----

Send To Repair from Kelly

Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 sendmail.dll
Go to Start/Run and type in: regsrv32 ole32
Go to Start/Run and type in: regsrv32 /i shell32
-----

Create a Shortcut to OE Mailto:
Right click on the Desktop/New/Shortcut.
Paste this into the white box:
"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /mailurl:mailto:
Go to Next, name it (ex) OE Shortcut, then hit finish.

I did all you told me to do, still can not "send to". Some of the commands
you asked me to do involve Outlook Express which I have never used and I am
not about to start using anyway. The send to feature worked in the past with
Netscape.

I looked in the outlook express folder and there is no file msimn.exe there.

The problem remains. I have an extra Icon on my desktop which does nothing.
Can I delete it?

Ignore the part about registering MSOE and OE. Do the
"regsvr32 sendmail.dll" entry, set your default email client in Internet
Properties, Programs tab to Netscape, then right-click Start Menu, click
Properties, Customize, set Email: to Netscape.

Joe:
I did the regsvr32 part and checked the roperties on the start menu,
everything was set for Netscape.

I then opened Internet explorer and looked at the defaults, everything is
also set for Netscape.

Are you referring to the sendto feature in Word?
