Open XP Compressed Attachment Online How?

Win XP Scenario: I send an email to something like a Hotmail account and use
Rt Clk "Send To" XP Compression for an Attachment... AND I will see the email
from another computer later with UNKNOWN OS .... when Online later & inside
Hotmail account can I do "Open With" and Browse to something that will Open
the XP Compressed Attached File, OR am I limited to using another XP machine
and Saving the attachment to the Desktop from where I think XP will open it
automatically?

When looking at the Hotmail email with XP Compressed/zipped Attachment and Rt
Clk'ing "Open With", I don't see anything that will Open it. I was trying to
be steered to a Folder-File that I could select via Browse. Thanks for
Replying and excuse late Reply - out-of-town delay.
