A program is trying to access e-mail

I have Oultook 2007 and there is a security feature when another program is
trying to send email: "A program is trying to access e-mail address
information stored in Outlook....." at which point I need to press the
acknowledge button to continue. This is fine, and when I want to supress
this I use ClickYes.

With Office 2000 this was never an issue, however several of our
workstations still use Office 2000 and I would like to add this feature.
Can I do this??

No. This seems to be an additional feature in the newer versions of
Outlook.

This is an Outlook question, and you already posted in an Outlook newsgroup,
where you have received the answer.

Well, ICQ comes to mind. If you send a message to a person who is off line,
you can choose to send the same message as SMS or email if you have that
information in their profile information. I don't know if other IM types
allow that, I don't use very many of them.
