send/receive not working and 2 outgoing emails won't delete

ever since I tried to send an email with a large 90MB word document
attachment my send/receive won't work with my email. I tried to delete these
2 emails that are stuck in my outbox but I keep getting an error message:
"the messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem
persists, restart outlook." I've tried to restart, restart in safe mode, run
detect and repair.... but nothing works. I tried to do a general delete of
the entire outbox but the drop down selection is greyed out.
Please help.

Try starting the computer w/out a network connection (or the ability for
Outlook to start a dialup/modem session). At this point you could try
opening/deleting the messages in the Outbox.
