I have a problem.

Before i used to right click and send a picture to a mail recipent, and it would ask me if i want to make it smaller. But this option has disappeard. And i have to do it manualy using other programs.

I read about the Image Resizer (PowerToys) but i don't like it as much as the above... Can some one please shed some light onto my problem... please... :)

Thanx

Try this, maybe it will restore the option:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

My problem is somewhat like Boris' and I hope John Inzer
or someone else can give me a clue.
Before Tuesday when I installed Office 2003, my computer
would offer to resize a photo, open Hotmail (my preferred
email) and would attach the photo. Now that I've
installed Office 2003, it still offers to resize, and does
resize, but attaches the photo to a weird-looking email
screen. The email screen doesn't say if it's hotmail or
outlook, etc., and doesn't even have a SEND button.
How can I tell my computer that I want Hotmail to be my
preferred email so that the photos will be resized,
attached and opened into a hotmail message?

I do not know which email my computer is trying to use.
I've been using Hotmail and I don't know whether Outlook
is involved in that process.

Here's my problem, restated: Prior to installing Office
2003, I could choose a photo, right-click, choose Send to
Email Recipient, the PC would let me choose Resize to
Smaller, and then it would open my Hotmail, attach the
photo, and let me write a message and send it by Hotmail.

After installing Office 2003, when I right-click a photo,
I can still choose to resize it. The PC attaches the
message to a weird looking email screen that is not
identified as to what type of email it is. I suspect it
may be Outlook or related to Outlook. However, there is
no envelope icon and the file menu does not have a Send
Message choice. When I choose File, and Properties, it
refers to saving a plain text message to Outbox.

I want to know how to make the PC do what it did before I
installed Office 2003, i.e., attach the resized photo to a
Hotmail message.

Would appreciate any ideas you have.
