emailing photos

Recently I am unable to send resized photos via email. i go to my pictures, I
picked the picture I want to send, then it asks me if I want to make the the
photos smaller, which I do ,I click okay, but the to(whom email to be sent)
in the email windows don't appears. It is supposed to appear immediately
after I choose to make the picture smaller. I try it in my laptop that also
is XP and I don't have problems, it resizes the photo and the TO, to send
appears., and the photo or attachment is sent without any problems, this I
can't do, so please help me to solve this problem.

Thanks, Angel Canino

Two things that may be worth a try:

1) go to...Start / Run and type
(or copy/paste):

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

A dialog box should report the following:

"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"

2) I cannot guarantee it, but the following
method may work if you use Outlook Express:

How do I make OE my default mail client?

Go to...Start / Run...and enter the following:

msimn /reg

Click...OK...

Then open Internet Explorer and go to...
Tools / Internet Options / Programs tab...
and set OE as the default mail (and news)
program.

Good luck.
