E-Mail Photos

When I right click on a photo of either a jpg or tiff, and choose "Sent To,
Mail Recipient", the "Send Pictures via E-Mail" option comes up. When I click
OK to "Make all my pictures smaller", that is all it does. It does not bring
up an e-mail message, with attachment, for me to send the photo along. Does
anyone have any ideas on how to fix this. I have already tried "REGSVR32
SHIMGVW.DLL". This did not work. Thanks.

If you are using Outlook Express...read
the following;

I cannot guarantee it, but the following
method may work:

How do I make OE my default mail client?

Go to...Start / Run...and enter the following:

msimn /reg

Click...OK...

Then open Internet Explorer and go to...
Tools / Internet Options / Programs tab...
and set OE as the default mail (and news)
program.

Now try sending your images.

Good luck.

Unfortunately I use MS Outlook, not OE. Any other suggestions would be great.
Thanks.

Sorry...I don't know much about Outlook...

Wondering...if you open an IE screen and
go to...Tools / Internet Options / Programs
tab...is Outlook selected as your E-mail
program?

If all else fails there's a free XP PowerToy
Image Resizer that you can use:

Go to the following link and download and
install: ImageResizer.exe

http://tinyurl.com/36n

Then you can open any folder that contains
images and you will have an option to resize.
Just right click the selected image files and
choose Resize Pictures from the menu. You
can select one image or a whole group.

The program will place the resized copies in
the folder with your originals.
(Tip: *Never* overwrite your originals)
