Section Breaks

For some reason, I have a document that will not allow me to delete the
section break. It was imported from an accounting software. Is there any
way to force it to delete the section break other than the normal way?
 
Hi Shelly

This sounds odd to me. If this were my document, I'd copy and paste the text
(omitting the section breaks) into a new, clean document, and work on that
one.
