Prevent user from deleting section break

Jack

Hi,

I am using Microsoft Word 2003 to create a template. In this template, I
inserted a section break so that the footer for the main body of the document
can be different than title page. However, some inexperienced users would
make mistakes to delete the section break. Is there anything I can do to
prevent user from deleting the section breaks I inserted in the template? If
I can, how should I do it?

Thank in advance.

A little education for your "inexperienced users" probably wouldn't hurt. If
they understand that the section break is there for a reason, they'll
probably leave it alone. Then, too, make sure they only have access to Read
Only copies of your template(s) so that if all else fails, they can copy text
from their screwed-up document into a new clean copy of the template and
"start over."

Is this a situation where you could use "Different first page" instead? Then
you wouldn't need a section break.
